It would be the perfect golf round if only we had the perfect golf swing.

We’ve all heard people say “the pros make it look so simple” and “the pros can hit the ball a mile with a swing that looks so easy and effortless”.

Well then, I wonder why we’re getting all twisted up and frustrated trying to perfect our own swing.

I guess that the natural thought could be… “The harder we hit the ball, the further it will go”. So we end up on the driving range whacking the balls as hard as we can, wondering why we aren’t achieving the perfect golf swing.

It would make sense that if the best players in the world have a golf swing that is a simple, easy movement; we should be trying to copy what they are doing.

If golf was a purely a strength game, body builders would be the best golfers.

The harder you try to hit the ball, the tighter your wrists will become. As your wrists tighten, the club will actually swing slower and the clubface may be held open at impact causing you to spin the ball to the right.

So we have to convince ourselves that we should swing looser to produce shots that will go further than before. Don’t you remember a time when you hit that one drive that seemed perfect and went straighter and further than ever before? It seemed quite effortless and easy didn’t it? So it’s the technique rather than the brute force eh!

So let’s forget about trying to smash it as hard as we can shall we. Let’s swing in control and be amazed at how far we will hit the golf ball even though it doesn’t feel like we’re putting any effort into it at all.

The Perfect Golf Swing

Golf is game that takes plenty of practice and understanding and the swing has always been one of the most difficult things to understand.

It’s probably not a bad idea to take some lessons from a qualified golf pro if you are new to the game of golf. You’ll start off with the fundamentals of the golf swing which will give you a great start on the game and hopefully prevent you from getting into any bad habits.

Most of us want results immediately but it’s going to take time. Regular lessons from a qualified teacher is going to help and if we stay determined, we’ll start to hit some shots that will totally amaze us.

Then we need to practice what we’ve been taught. We need to ingrain our swing until it is second nature. With consecutive repetitions of the movements we’ll master it faster.

Some golfers can turn their shoulders back more than 90 degrees but it’s best to only turn back as much as your body will allow. Think of your body like a giant spring. If you were to wind up a giant spring it would get tight. Then, when you let go, it would want to snap back the other way.

If you can’t turn your body back by 90 degrees don’t compensate by over-rotating your hips because you’ll lose the torque that is necessary for creating consistency in the swing. Only turn back as much as your body will allow.

Keep your lower body stable and turn make sure that your wrists are loose enough to allow the club to hinge to at least 90 degrees. This will give you maximum power without having to swing back too far.

Keep practicing until this is second nature. Do consecutive repetitions until you feel comfortable with you swing and it feels effortless and natural.

Swing slower to hit the ball better - once you slow down you’ll make better contact in the middle of the clubface, widen your arc and release the club faster. All of these things add up to more distance with less effort.

Resist the temptation to hit the ball too hard and you’ll soon start to swing like a pro.

Place your hands on the club in a neutral position since your grip is your connection to the club. A faulty grip will cause your shots to spin on way or the other, so learn the proper grip.

It is vital that you align squarely to your target to avoid a perfect shot going into the trees or bunkers. Assure that your hips and shoulders are parallel with the target line, and the ball is the correct distance from your feet, located correctly between them in your stance.

Develop consistency and learn to recognize what proper ball position and alignment looks and feels like. With practice you will develop and retain consistent alignment and ball-position memory.

We’ll always have our ups and downs when we play golf but this makes it just the more challenging. Never quit and realize that we all make mistakes.

Building a great golf swing takes time. If it could be achieved in a week everyone would be pros.

Let’s get out there and start practicing the perfect golf swing.

Don’t forget to warm up first… that’ll be the subject of a new blog post in the future.

If you are looking for ideas to promote your company, organizing a golf tournament, exhibiting at a trade show or needing something for a give-away gift, logo golf tees are one such product that just may fit the bill.

What are golf tees and what are logo golf tees?

A golf tee is a small prop used to support the golf ball so that a golfer can strike the ball and is typically only used for the first stroke of each hole. The area from which the ball is hit or “teed off” is also commonly known as the tee. For example the 3rd hole is played from the 3rd tee to the 3rd green and similarly for the other holes.

The most common size of a golf tee is 2 1/8″ (54mm) long. The head of the golf tee is slightly concaved to allow the ball to sit securely on top while the pointed shaft is designed to be pushed vertically into the ground.

Golf tees are typically made from wood or plastic. The primary wood used is cedar wood and most plastic golf tees are made using polypropylene or high density polyethylene and even rubber has been used to modify the characteristics of certain golf tees.

Just like other golf accessories, there are many styles, colors and varieties of golf tees available promising a variety of benefits for the user. Manufacturers make claims like: reduces friction - reduces side spin - increases confidence - laser-like accuracy - longer and straighter drives - reduces back spin etc. etc.

Logo Golf Tees

Golf tees can be imprinted on the stems with 1 - 4 lines of text, a graphic or company logo making them personalized for an individual, a large or small company or a particular golf club where they can be given away or sold.

Given that golf is one of the most popular sports in the world, handing out personalized logo golf tees as golf gifts, give-a-ways at golf tournaments, promotion items or in fact at any event connected to sports or not, makes a great addition to your company marketing efforts.

Even people who may not regularly play golf welcome the idea of receiving a personalized gift.

Who uses logo golf tees?

Obviously golfers are the end users of all golf tees and since golf is a very competitive game, all golfers are looking for anything and everything to improve their game.

So as a small, medium or large company, using logo golf tees to help promote your business could prove to be a smart move in your campaign.

Who else might want to use logo golf tees?

Golf shops could benefit greatly by either giving away logo golf tees as a promotional item or better still by selling them to golfers. Having a variety of logo golf tees available for sale could provide an extra stream of income and provide a valuable service to their clientele whilst getting their club promoted.

Schools are always looking to raise funds for school activities and one such way could be to sell golf tees imprinted with the school logo in a similar fashion to the way they sell candy and cookies.

Property developers that are constructing properties on a golf course could also use logo golf tees as a simple give-away to its potential buyers as a gesture for viewing the development and leaving their contact details.

Real estate agents could similarly offer the same as the developers above as a way of lead generation that not only creates leads but keeps the name of the real estate agent in the mind of the prospective property buyer or seller.

And of course there are personalized gifts for friends and family. Even if they are not avid golfers, having their name or nickname imprinted onto anything has an appeal.

In fact, for businesses of all sizes where customers visit the company premises, leaving small packets of logo golf tees at the checkout counter for people to take could be a relatively inexpensive way to create goodwill and customer loyalty which will encourage repeat business and give a substantial return on investment.

Getting the golf tees’ packaging customized with your business logo makes a professional statement about your business and helps to reinforce your marketing message.

Like most things now-a-days the internet is the most convenient way to purchase your logo golf tees in whatever quantity you require and in whatever length, shape, color and size suits your requirements.

Dealing with golf tee specialists will make the whole process fast and easy. Upload your design, graphics, logo, emblem, company name or slogan and in only a short time you will be on your way to branding your company name.

Whether you’re the owner of a golf club, resort or shop, in the real estate profession or looking to raise funds for your school, club or charity, logo golf tees may be just what you’re looking for.

Don’t forget that you can also imprint your company name, logo or emblem on golf balls and markers, divot repair tools, golf shoes, golf bags and even golf towels!

Although logo golf tees may not be able to help with your golf swing, they’re bound to get your company or organization noticed and remembered which is what it’s all about anyway, isn’t it?

Searching online you’ll find many companies who can supply you with Custom Logo Golf Balls for your marketing promotion.

With so many ways these days to spend your advertising budget a very effective way to get your company branding and message out to the world is by using Custom Logo Golf Balls.

The golf course has always been a place where many business deals are made or initiated. Discussing business ideas and strategies whilst playing a game of golf can be most beneficial to buiding up business partners and contacts.

Giving a gift of Custom Logo Golf Balls is a great way to start a game of golf and break-the-ice with new business prospects and/or potential or existing customers.

Almost everytime a golfer picks up his ball he looks at it to make sure that he has the right ball and he recognises it by looking at the logo or name on the ball. Imagine having your company name and logo imprinted right onto that ball.

Using existing company logos, graphics and designs you can customize a plain old golf ball into a hot marketing specialty gift to give out at company functions, conferences, parties and any event connected to your business where your customers are gathered.

Then to top it all off you can package the golf balls in a customized box or package with your company logo printed on the outside in your comany colors.

Obviously the size of the imprint on the ball is only a small area so it makes perfect sense to work with a professional company to make sure you get it right the first time.

Round logos work best and having your logo on the same ball as some of the big names in golf balls will definately work in your favor. Your name could appear alongside famous names like Titleist, Callaway, Nike Golf, Taylor Made, Bridgestone, Ben Hogan, Dunlop, Maxfli, Precept, and Top Flite. Your marketing message will be stengthened and your customers suitably impressed.

Another option is to start off with a completely blank canvas and have your company custom logo on the ball with your company name, phone number and web address on the opposite face or even just have two of your business logos on the same ball.

Handing out free golf balls gives your branding massive exposure and the opportunity to provide a gift to golfers that they will talk about the next time they’re at the golf club.

…and remember that you can also imprint your name and logo on golf tees and markers, divot repair tools, towels, golf bags and even golf shoes!

Why not get online now and find a company who can supply you with your next marketing campaign by supplying you with your own Custom Logo Golf Balls.

With golf being one of the most popular sports in the world today it would make sense to include a golf or golfing related promotional product in your company’s marketing arsenal.

Logo Golf Umbrellas are one such product that make an excellent choice out of the many golf and golfer related products available.

A logo golf umbrella is a large, usually up to 60″ in diameter umbrella with a distinctive and eye-catching logo or logos imprinted right onto the umbrella along with the company phone number, web address, company slogan or anything else that you want all the world to see.

A logo is how a company is identified, remembered and recoginsed in the future so it is important that the correct brand awareness is built and by using a logo golf umbrella in your marketing campaign, your company’s name and logo is right in front of your customers, exactly where you want it, directly on the golf umbrella.

Golf umbrellas are perfect giveaways for golf tournaments, meetings, and events or even at your local golf club and with your comany logo imprinted onto the umbrella, your branding has the possiblilty to reach far and wide. Whether you personally like golfing or not, an umbrella is part of a golfer’s gear.

While serving the primary purpose of a business promotion, logo golf umbrellas double as beach or patio umbrellas which expands your business message to a much larger audience long after the golf game is over and at all times of the year whether it is raining or it’s a bright sunny day.

If you are responsible for marketing a golf club, you could sell golf-umbrellas to your clubs members with your club logo or emblem imprinted right on the canopy of the umbrella.

Logo golf umbrellas come in a wide variety of colors and can either be alternating colors or rainbow colors.

As a general rule the followig list highlights the most important features to look for when buying logo golf umbrellas.

A colorful umbrella will attract the public as long as the colors compliment the company logo or emblem and make a strong statement for your company.

An umbrella with a fiberglass shaft adds more flexibility in the shaft when it is being opened in strong winds. Of course it’s also safer than having a steel shaft should there be any lightening in the area.

Choose a wide umbrella to keep as much of the golfers equipment as dry as possible.

Wind protection is an important factor. By having a doulbe canopy and air vents the umbrella is more resitant to withstanding high winds.

To help prevent the umbrella from blowing away when you set it down, make sure your new golf umbrella has a long plastic stake at the top end that can be stuck in the ground.

SQUARE LOGO GOLF UMBRELLAS

More unusual that the typical round umbrellas that we are all used to, square umbrellas are a great option that definitely gets noticed.

Apart from the obvious different shape of the square umbrella, a great adavntage is that the imprinted area is much larger giving you a bigger canvas to get your marketing message accross.

You can still get the usual range of colors, shafts and handles; so if you want to stand out from the rest of the pack choosing a square logo golf umbrella can definately be an advantage.

In conclusion, logo golf umbrellas, printed with your corporate branding helps promote your company and leaves a lasting and positive impression.

Whatever type of promotional umbrella you choose, you can customize it with a unique business logo, picture or design that will really get attention.

Well-made golf umbrellas should last for years to come. It is a form of advertisement that keeps on advertising day after day.

If you’re looking for a great way to promote your business, an ideal choice to attract potential customers would be to give away a logo golf umbrella.

STOP raising market awareness and brand strength for the major golf ball manufacturers and START maximizing YOUR company image and branding with Corporate Logo Golf Balls.

If anyone has ever given you golf balls as a gift, doesn’t the brand name of the ball stand out in your mind more than the person or company who gave them to you?

Still a unique way to promote a companys branding, Corporate Logo Golf Balls are used by companies big and small to maximize marketing potential at trade shows and corporate events or as sales incentives for staff members and can be customized to include not only the logo but also the company name, telephone number and website address printed right onto the golf ball.

Long after the event is forgotten, a gift of golf balls is still able to get the company message and branding out into the world, proving to be an eye-catching and cost-effective marketing tool.

Golf Balls can be imprinted with:

a business logo

2 logos

a logo on one side and company details on the other

a photograph of a person (maybe a member of staff)

an image of a product

a message for a charity event

The imprint area on a golf ball is typically a 7/8″ circle or up to 3 lines of text or both if you are imprinting both sides of the ball, so since this is quite a small area make sure you say the most with the space you have.

And remember that round logos work best since they maximize the imprintable area on the ball.

While most Corporate Logo Golf Ball suppliers supply your golf balls in the original packaging of the ball manufacturer, some specialist companys can maximize your company image by supplying you with custom packaging to match the message on the golf balls.

Now you can give away Corporate Logo Golf Balls with all of the advantages of custom packaging, your business logo, and marketing all incorporated into the gift. It’s a perfect tradeshow or golfing gift.

Providing camera-ready artwork or art on disk will ensure products of the highest quality. Include all fonts and colors with any artwork submitted in a suitable format such as Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand or Adobe Photoshop

There are a number of online suppliers who provide logo golf balls in large or small order quantities with fast service giving you more flexibility and freedom with your requirements which gives the average company the opportunity to order some customized balls for a smaller event.

Why not go online and check out some of the websites and get a better idea of their workmanship and prices.

You have the choice to start off with a totally clean unmarked ball or have your logo appear on a golf ball along side the famous names such as Titleist, Callaway, Nike Golf, Taylor Made, Bridgestone, Ben Hogan, Dunlop, Maxfli, Precept, and Top Flite. Your clients and customers will be impressed and your marketing message will be reinforced.

In conclusion, handing out free golf balls gets your company noticed.

You can also imprint your name and logo on golf tees and markers, divot repair tools, towels, golf bags and even golf shoes!

…and remember the’re also great for weddings, anniversaries, golf clubs, class reunions or any event where you’ll find lovers of golf.

Make sure you make room in your marketing budget for promotional items and gifts. For company branding and promotion, Corporate Logo Golf Balls make a lasting impression with your customers.

Real World Golf to Real World Golf Courses

Playing golf on a computer and perfecting your swing and style is all well and good, but how do you go from playing golf on Real World Golf or any other virtual golf game to actually playing golf for real on one of the many golf courses in the world.

Maybe it´s time that you ventured out of the warmth of your living room to get some fresh air and exercise and play golf on a real course.

Wherever you live in the world you won’t be far from a golf course.

From the very first recorded game of golf in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1456 golf is now played on courses all over the world.

The top three largest markets for golf in the world are USA, Japan and the UK in that order with approximately 60% of the worlds golf courses in North America.

As we explore the game of golf, the players, golf history, its rules and regulations and the like, we shall also take a look at various golf courses in different parts of the world, what they have in common and also how very diverse they can be.

While a few countries claim the title of “The Origin of Golf” it looks like Scotland is considered to be the inventor of the modern game of golf as we know it today with the Musselburgh Links Golf Course in East Lothian, Scotland claiming the title of “The Oldest Playing Golf Course in the World”.

As we move ahead and explore some of the golf courses in the world, are you ready to give up the comfort of your living room and switch Real World Golf for Real World Golf Courses?

Well that depends on your skill level. Hopefully you haven’t formed any bad habits in your living room that you’ll carry out on to the golf course and end up slicing the ball, missing the ball altogether or end up in the bunker.

Until next time, remember, wherever you are in the world check out what golf courses are around where you live; we may just feature a course near you in a future featured article on World Golf Courses.
